For Reviewers

Ethical Responsibilities of the Reviewers
The implementation of a double-blind review process by JEES significantly impacts the quality of publications. This process allows the editors to ensure confidentiality by means of an impartial and unbiased review. During the double-blind review process, direct communication between the reviewers and authors is not allowed. Instead, the reviews and comments are transmitted through the journal management system. During this procedure, the reviewer examines the evaluation forms and the complete texts are subsequently forwarded to the author(s) by the editor. Consequently, the reviewers evaluating the manuscripts submitted to JEES are required to uphold the following ethical obligations:

They should only consider manuscripts that are relevant to their specific subject area.
They should conduct a thorough evaluation in a fair and confidential manner.
If individuals perceive a conflict of interest between themselves and the author(s) of the manuscript, it is advisable to promptly notify the editor of the Journal.
After the process of reviewing, the manuscripts are disposed of in accordance with the principle of confidentiality.
A reviewer is limited to using only the published version of the manuscripts that they have previously reviewed.
They should conduct a thorough and impartial evaluation of the manuscript, focussing solely on its content, and ensure that factors such as nationality, gender, religious and political beliefs, and economic concerns do not have any influence on the reviewing process.
They should assess the manuscript in a manner that is both helpful and considerate, refraining from making any personal remarks that may be hostile, defamatory, or insulting.

Please evaluate the manuscript that you have agreed to review promptly and in compliance with the aforementioned ethical guidelines.
