Generative AI Policy

The Journal of Emerging Educational Studies (JEES) acknowledges the value of utilising large language models (LLMs) and generative AI as efficient tools to enhance authors' productivity in preparing their articles for submission. These tools can assist in generating initial ideas for structuring the article, summarising content, paraphrasing information, and refining language usage. Nevertheless, it is crucial to acknowledge that every large language model possesses constraints and lacks the ability to reproduce human ingenuity and analytical reasoning. Human involvement is necessary to guarantee the accuracy and suitability of the content presented to the reader. Therefore, JEES mandates that authors acknowledge the constraints of large language models and take them into account when utilising LLMs in their submissions.
Besides, as a publication policy, JEES requires the authors to clearly disclose any use of generative AI tools such as LLMs under the relevant heading in the journal manuscript template.

Although the use of generative AI is not a direct reason for desk rejection, the disclosure will be carefully examined by the Editorial Board of JEES, and the final decision will be made accordingly.
